About the Custom process
Yes, we offer bespoke jewelry services beyond rings. From one-of-a-kind necklaces to heirloom-quality bracelets, we’ll work closely with you to create a piece as unique as your story.

Our process begins with a filling out our free estimate! If you have any updates or additional specifications please send us an email or book a one-on-one consultation where we discuss your vision and preferences.
Next, we create a 3D CAD (Computerized Assistant Design), which we'll share with you for feedback. Once we finalize the design, our artisans handcraft the piece, ensuring every detail is perfect.
Finally, you'll receive your custom ring, tailored just for you.
The timeline varies based on design intricacy and gemstone availability. Typically, it can take anywhere from 10 to 12 weeks from consultation to completion.
To ensure that your ring fits perfectly, we offer resizing services.

Please note that textured rings may require additional work to resize.
All of our rings are meticulously handcrafted right here in Toronto by our team of skilled artisans. We take pride in creating each piece locally, ensuring quality and attention to detail every step of the way.
Diamonds & Certification
We are unwavering in our commitment to sourcing diamonds that are both conflict-free and ethically obtained. To guarantee this, we strictly adhere to the Kimberley Process, an international certification system that regulates rough diamond trade.
In addition to the Kimberley Process, we work closely with trusted suppliers who provide detailed documentation and certifications verifying the origin of each diamond, ensuring both its ethical sourcing and its separation from conflict zones or related violence.
As an added assurance of quality, all of our engagement and wedding rings (each stone 1ct or larger) are accompanied by an IGI Certification https://www.igi.org/
We offer certified appraisal from a third-party gemologist for $100CAD. This appraisal provides you with an independent evaluation of your ring's value, ensuring that you have accurate information for insurance purposes.
While we don’t typically work with client-provided settings, we’re open to making exceptions. In such cases, we may be able to ship the completed setting to you for stone setting on your end.
That said, we also source gemstones and diamonds directly from trusted cutting factories, giving you access to exceptional quality and value if you're looking for a complete piece.
Warranty & Protection
At Smiro Studio, we are dedicated to crafting a ring that you will cherish. We keep you involved on every step in the process, with you making the final decision. Once you agree to your final design we will build your final (non-refundable) engagement ring.
We are committed to standing behind our products, and our one-year warranty covers any production defects (not including the centre stone) from the date of purchase. We take great pride in the quality of our rings and want you to enjoy them for a lifetime.
In case of lost accent diamonds, we will replace them within the warranty period. Please note that any damage caused by improper care or handling will be repaired at-cost within the warranty period. After the warranty period has ended, repairs may incur a small material and labor fee.
Modifications or alterations made by another jeweller may void your care package and warranty. We encourage you to trust our expert team with any repairs or alterations to ensure that your ring remains in optimal condition.
