We also recreated the design and gave him options to choose from and he picked the one that felt just right.
This one came together really nicely.
It features a 2.37CT Ceylon Blue Sapphire in an oval cut set in a clean 18K yellow gold split shank band with engraving along the band for an extra personal touch, with 9 etches on one side and 8 on the other.
The sapphire is held with double prongs and sits as the clear focus of the design, with five side stones on each side of the setting adding a bit of subtle sparkle without taking attention away from the center, plus hidden gemstones with aquamarine for March and emerald for May tucked into the design.
