A band that sits flush

89% of our ring orders since December 2025 were specced so a straight band sits flush, because most of what we build is medium height and the band slides right under the head. A tall tulip basket takes more planning. We've raised a bridge by 2mm on a round so the band sits with no gap, and on marquise tulips we cut a notch under the stone for the band to tuck into. A curved band is the other route, and it suits lower settings. More on each in how a band sits flush with a tulip basket.

How we make it

On the call we look at your engagement ring (photos from the top and the side help) and design the band in 3D in 14k, 18k or platinum to match it. Once you approve the design, it's made by hand at the bench. You see a close-up video before you pay the balance, and it ships free and insured.

Can you make a band for a ring you already have?

Send photos of the ring from the top and the side before the call. Whether a straight band can sit flush depends on how high the head sits.

Do you make plain wedding bands?

Case by case. We focus on bands designed around your engagement ring, so a plain, standard band usually isn't what we do. If you want one, ask on the call and we'll tell you honestly.

When should we order our wedding bands?

Tell us your wedding date on the first call, before you pay anything, and we'll tell you if the timing works.

Can we try bands on at the studio?

No. There are no walk-ins or studio visits. You approve the band in 3D on video, and it ships to your door.
