When to Buy a Men's Wedding Band (and How Long It Takes)

Short answer: Start about four months before the wedding for a custom band, or about three months for a made to order piece, once the engagement ring is settled. Our custom pieces take about 10 to 12 weeks from deposit to your door and made to order about 8 weeks, and US orders can take about two weeks longer for customs. That leaves room for a resize before the day.
The men's band is usually the last thing on the list. That works, as long as last does not mean three weeks before the wedding.

Should his band wait for the engagement ring?
Usually, yes, if the bands are meant to go together. If your partner's band has to sit flush against the engagement ring, design that one first, then match his metal, width or finish to it.

When should he get sized?
Close to when you order. Any local jeweller can size him, or a plastic ring sizer works, about $10 on Amazon. Tell us the width you want too, because we design the band to his hand.
If it ends up a little off, resizing with us is $200 shipped, so leave time for that before the wedding. A band with diamonds all the way around usually cannot be resized like a plain band, so get the size right first. Sizing tips are in finding a ring size.
What does a men's wedding band cost?
