All three of us design the rings, so you get a real answer on the call, not a hand-off.
Usually the first person you meet. Ask me about very unique designs and the technical side of bringing them to life.
I design every custom piece that leaves the studio. Ask me about tulip baskets and hand engraving.
I source every stone we set. Ask me about shapes, colour and clarity, and finding a truly unique one.
How the 20 minutes go
- 0 to 5minutes
Your story. Who the ring is for, when you're proposing, and the one thing you want us to get right.
- 5 to 15minutes
Rings we've built like yours. We pull them up on screen and shape the design together, with one suggestion you didn't ask for. Real rings only. We never show a drawing before a deposit.
- 15 to 20minutes
The price, said out loud. The exact number for that exact ring, in CAD or USD. If it's more than you had in mind, we change the spec with you on the call. Then what happens next, and when you'd like to decide.
Before the call
- Nothing is required. Bring photos if you have them, or email them to contact@smirostudio.com before we start.
- Took the free estimate? We read your answers first, so we start where you left off.
- Partners are welcome. Plenty of calls have both of you on.
- No budget talk up front. Same spec, same price, for everyone.
After the call
Nothing happens unless you want it to. Within the hour you get an email with the same number and spec we said on the call. If you go ahead, a 50% deposit starts your 3D design and we source two diamonds for you to choose from. You approve both before anything is made. The balance is due when you see the finished ring on a close-up video.

No. You hear a real price and what the next step would be, then we leave it with you. Most couples decide about a week later.
We work with couples across Canada and the US. The price is given in USD, and the consult, approvals and delivery all happen online.
Our studios are in Toronto and New York. Every consult happens on video, so the call works the same from anywhere.
Both are fine. Tell us the date and we'll say honestly on the call what fits.
