Engagement Ring Hidden Costs: What's Included and What Isn't

    Short answer: With us, the quoted price covers the 3D design rounds, the centre stone, the metal, the bench work, a one year warranty and free insured shipping across Canada and the US. The extras are small and optional: an appraisal is $100 CAD, resizing is $200 CAD shipped, and inner band engraving is free up to 10 to 12 characters. Hand engraving and hidden gems are quoted with your design.

    The price on our quote is the price of the ring. Tax and the optional extras below are the only additions.

    What costs extra?

    The appraisal is worth it for insurance, because no warranty covers loss or theft of the centre stone. See appraisal and insurance.

    Is tax included?

    No. Our quoted prices are before tax, and tax is added at checkout or on your invoice. US couples are quoted in US dollars, and we talk through the price and any US costs on the call before you pay anything.

    What does a custom ring cost in total?

    Half of our Canadian ring orders were quoted between $5,100 and $7,000 CAD, centre stone included. What each budget bought is on our pricing page.

    What should I ask any jeweller?
