Short answer: Yes. Clients send us AI images more and more, and they are a good starting point. We treat one like any inspiration photo: pull out the ideas you love, then design something that can actually be built and worn. This ring started as an AI image and became a 3 carat step cut Dutch marquise in a tulip basket, with a band of three swirls that connect into the gallery rail.

Custom rings you will never find in a big box store, featuring this unique dutch marquise ring. So this right here is a 3 carat step cut dutch marquise that's set into this tulip basket and gallery rail. But the band right here, it's these three swirls that then turn and connect into the top of the gallery rail between the tulip basket. This is the inspo the client sent to us originally. I think it's an AI image. And then this is the ring we built right here. Such a unique ring at a big box store.

What AI images get right, and what they miss
They are good at mood: a shape, a style, a feeling. They do not know what holds a stone. Common gaps we fix:
- Prongs that could not actually hold the diamond.
- A centre stone bigger than the band could support.
- Details that would catch on everything.
- No room for a wedding band to sit flush.
How we turn it into a real ring

How much does a custom ring from an AI image cost?
A fully custom ring from us starts at about $4,000 USD, and most of the rings we build land between $4,000 and $5,000. Our Ready To Order settings start at $1,299 CAD, plus the diamond. The centre stone moves the price most: in September 2026 a 2 carat lab grown diamond ran about $2,500 CAD and a 3 carat about $2,700 CAD. Real numbers are in our cost guide.

How many design changes can I make?
You approve a 3D design before anything is made, and we revise it until it is right.
