How much is a 3 carat engagement ring?

Is a 3 carat diamond too big?

It's the average stone we build. It reads substantial on most fingers without looking oversized, and the shape changes a lot: a 3 carat oval at a 1.40 to 1.50 ratio looks longer than a round of the same weight. Ask for the measurements, not just the carat. See carat vs ratio.
