Halo or hidden halo: what's the difference?
Where the small diamonds sit. A halo frames the stone face up and makes it look bigger from the top. A hidden halo wraps the base of the stone, just under the girdle, so the top view stays a clean solitaire and the sparkle shows when your hand turns.
