We're SMIRO STUDIO and here are six extremely unique cool girl engagement rings you probably won't see yet. Lots of fun ones and they're excited to show you. First one on this list is a 3 carat champagne diamond, beautiful tulip basket holding up the stone and custom hand engraved cherry blossoms running down the side of the band. This ring is a toi et moi with an emerald and a pear shape and then when you flip it over you see this beautiful hidden halo and bridge diamonds. I love the finger coverage you're getting across both these diamonds. This is a 3.5 carat marquise diamond with a beautiful hidden halo wrapping around the entire ring giving you so much sparkle from that side profile. But the star of the show is this vintage and floral hand engraved ring. You can see the flowers, you can see the leaves, you can see everything flowing through the entire band. All of it has so much detail that you can only achieve with hand engraving. This is a step cut Dutch marquise but this one has fully hand engraved all throughout the top sides of the band and on the bridge, oh and on the sides of the band as well. You rarely get to see engraving on white gold or platinum so this is a very unique and beautiful ring. Classic that we do oval six claw prongs, a stunning tulip basket holding up the entire stone in this cathedral setting and a band that tapers into that half petal. Super clean, super timeless ring. Probably the most fun one, this is a vivid green oval diamond with kite side stones embedded directly into the split shank. A beautiful tulip basket with half petals on the north south tips just to add additional support. That's it, that's extremely unique rings.

    1. Champagne diamond with cherry blossoms

A 3 carat champagne diamond in a tulip basket, with cherry blossoms hand engraved down the sides of the band.

    2. A toi et moi: emerald and pear

Two stones side by side, an emerald cut and a pear. Underneath there is a hidden halo and diamonds on the bridge. Two stones give you coverage across the finger, not just along it.

    3. Marquise with a hidden halo and floral engraving

A 3.5 carat marquise with a hidden halo wrapping around the whole head, so there is sparkle from every side. The star is the vintage floral hand engraving: flowers and leaves flowing through the entire band. That level of detail only comes from engraving by hand.

    4. An engraved step cut Dutch marquise in white gold

A step cut Dutch marquise with hand engraving across the top and sides of the band and on the bridge. You rarely see engraving on white gold or platinum, which is part of why it stands out.

    5. The classic

An oval with six claw prongs in a tulip basket, a cathedral setting, and a band that tapers into a half petal. Clean and timeless.

    6. A vivid green oval

A vivid green oval with kite side stones set straight into a split shank, a tulip basket, and half petals on the tips for extra support. More on this kind of build in our green diamond ring post.

Where to start with your own idea

Pick the one thing you care about most: the stone, the colour, the engraving or the setting. Build the rest around it. Most of these started with a single photo or a single word from the client.

    Questions we get about this

What is a toi et moi ring?

A ring with two centre stones side by side, often two different shapes. The name means you and me.

Can you engrave white gold or platinum?

Yes. It is less common than yellow gold, which makes it stand out.

Can I combine ideas from different rings?

Yes. That is how most custom rings start.

How much does a unique custom engagement ring cost?

A fully custom ring from us starts at about $4,000 USD, and most of the rings we build land between $4,000 and $5,000. Our Ready To Order settings start at $1,299 CAD, plus the diamond. The centre stone moves the price most: in September 2026 a 2 carat lab grown diamond ran about $2,500 CAD and a 3 carat about $2,700 CAD. Hand engraving, a hidden halo, a split shank and gemstones in the petals each add bench time. Real numbers are in our cost guide.

How do I make my engagement ring unique?

Change one thing people notice: the stone's shape or colour, the basket, or engraving. Keep the rest simple so that one idea stands out.
