It starts with a free estimate and a free 20 minute video consult, you approve a 3D render and the actual diamond on video before anything is made, and the finished ring ships free and insured by FedEx. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and half our Canadian orders were quoted between $5,100 and $7,000 CAD.

How designing a ring online works

Step	Time	What happens
Free estimate	About a minute	Pick the shape, carat, setting and metal and get a price for that exact ring. Same spec, same price for everyone.
Design consult	20 minutes, on video	We walk you through rings we've built like yours and give you the price on the call.
3D design	About 3 weeks	Your deposit starts it. You mark up a CAD file, then spin and approve a 360 render. Most rings take two or three rounds.
Your diamond	Alongside the design	We look through hundreds of stones and send you two, each on 360 video, with its IGI certificate at 1 carat and up. You pick.
Bench and delivery	About 8 weeks	Made by hand at the bench, then a close-up video before you pay the balance. Free insured FedEx across Canada and the US.

Checks that make buying online safe

You see the real stone on 360 video, never a stock photo of the shape. Stones of 1 carat and up come with an IGI certificate that states lab grown or natural.
You approve a CAD file with measurements, then a 360 render, before anything is cast.
Delivery is free FedEx, insured, with an adult signature.
You pay half up front and the balance once you've seen the finished ring on video.

What it costs in Canada

Half of our Canadian ring orders were quoted between $5,100 and $7,000 CAD, centre stone included. The spread by budget is on our pricing page. Lab grown is the biggest saving for the same size; ask for both and we'll quote each, or read lab grown engagement rings.

Who orders from where

Our studios are at 27 Queen St E, Toronto, and 580 Fifth Avenue, New York, and everyone designs with us on video. From December 2025 to October 2026, 29% of our ring orders came from Ontario, 5% from Alberta and 4% from British Columbia, counted in the SMIRO Ring Report.
