Short answer: On our list, complete rings with hand engraving start at $4,600 CAD with a 2 carat lab grown diamond in 14K gold, while rings without engraving start at $3,100 CAD. On a custom ring we quote the engraving with the rest of your design, and text inside the band is free up to 10 to 12 characters.
Engraving is rarely priced on its own line, which makes this hard to look up. Our listed engraved rings give real numbers to start from; on a custom ring, the price depends on how much of the ring is carved.

So our engraved listed rings sit $900 to $1,700 CAD above the median ring without engraving, though each is a different design with its own details. A bigger stone moves all four by the same step: 3 carats adds $700 CAD to each.
What makes hand engraving cost more or less?
- How much surface. A vine on the bridge is a small job. A band carved on three sides, like Emen and Rayyan's, is many times the cutting.
- How detailed. Shaded petals and 22 different flowers take longer than a repeating scroll.
- Where. The band top is the easiest to reach. The bridge and gallery rail sit under the head and take finer tools.
- Metal. 14K yellow and white gold are the same price on our list; 18K adds $400 CAD and platinum $650 CAD on the engraved rings above.

How much does it cost to engrave inside a ring?
Nothing, for up to 10 to 12 characters of text inside the band on a ring you order from us. That is laser engraving, and it covers a date, initials or a word or two. Ideas that fit are in what to engrave inside a ring.

Can I add engraving to a listed ring?
